The Swan Inn

Jacqui the landlady is absolutely lovely, a wonderful hosts and very quick to respond to messages. The pub downstairs is clean and well stocked so we decided to make an appearance before going to bed and had the pleasure of meeting, what we gathered were regulars, who once again were very friendly and kind. There was no disturbance from the pub, the main seating area is in the front of the building and the kitchen below the rooms. The entrance to the rooms were secure and also meant you didn’t need to enter the pub unless you wished to after arriving. We booked the room with the private bathroom which again was spotless. The facilities in the room were amazing and above expectations; a extension lead, Shower gel, body wash, conditioner, a kettle and a variety of hot drink supplies, even A tv which streamed everything from mainstream to Netflix! The bed was extremely comfy and bedding soft- it was lovely. My friend and I booked this particular stay to visit Ninja Warrior and the location was perfect with only a £10 Uber and 12 minute travel time. Thank you Jacqui. I would highly recommend this stay to anyone.

Very close to the train station, bus stop and gas station. Walking distance from Woolston. Room very clean, has all you need for a short stay. Bed and pillows exceptionally comfortable, great sleep! Host is very kind and helpful, we had a problem with the tv and right away she came upstairs and fixed it in two minutes! Bathrooms are very clean, but that depends more on the people that use them. 😂 overall we were very satisfied and enjoyed the stay!

Easy to find, clean modern room with TV and tea making facilities. Shared bathroom was fine too. Twin single beds ideal for a short overnight stay. Parking outside. Ale in the pub was nice.

really lovely rooms, so much better than we expected, clean, fresh, we booked 4 rooms, all of which were fantastic value for money. also the lady who checked us in and ran the pub i believe, was amazing, really kind and helpful, would 100% recommend

Lovely good sized rooms, comfortable beds and a good location to Southampton city centre. Room was really clean and had everything you need (tea,coffee, and bathroom items). Really helpful and friendly owner who let us store our luggage until we were ready to leave for our cruise. Good value for money - would stay again.
